A Workshop On Ropes

with Bobbie Fultz

July 18, 2010

1:30-4:30 pm

Park Hill Yoga

Kurunta is a wooden puppet. In yoga, Kurunta the puppet and puppeteer become one.

The aid of ropes has many advantages in the study of yoga. The movement of the spine becomes supple, and even difficult asanas can be done easily and safely. No jerking is felt, and a sense of direction is developed by regular practice. The practitioner gains agility, lightness of the body, speed in movements, and alertness in the brain.

Bobbie Fultz is a certified Junior Intermediate II Iyengar Yoga Instructor and has been teaching nationally and internationally since 1991. She has made seven trips to Pune, India, to study with the Iyengar family. Bobbie is adept in the use of props from her work with her own spinal challenges of scoliosis.

$35 if pre-registered, $40 for drop-in. For pre-registration, please send a check payable to Park Hill Yoga to 2072 Ash Street, Denver, CO 80207 or call Deborah at 303-377-3508.
